Mavis Thornton - Head of Secretariat​

Mavis joins our team as the Head of Secretariat. She has incredibly extensive experience of international championships, having acted as a member of DT at the World Cadet & Junior Championships in Belfast, UK (2009); the Senior European Championships in Leipzig, Germany (2010); the Junior European Championships in Lobnya, Russia (2010); the Senior European Championships in Sheffield, UK (2011); the London Olympic Games (2012); and the Junior World Cups in London and accompanying satellites (the Eden Cup and Leon Paul satellite) for several years.

Mavis was also a member of the European Fencing Confederation's Competition Commission for several years.
